Lberate wrote:Help us out H2O tell us exactly what Aisha says about going to Medina? at what age did she leave for Medina? H2O were you not trying to tell us with one hadith taken out of context in which you made an argument out of silence that "She already reached puberty before they married when she was still living in Makkah before the Hijrah. when the hadiths do not contradict each other state she was pre-pubescent right into Medina and was even playing with her girl friends in the swings in Medina while being led up the aisle???
Lets look at the hadeeths again.
Hadeeth that mention Engagement ~ "Khitbah" at the age of six.
Document A
Sahih Bukhari vol. 5, Book 58, Number 234 Narrated 'Aisha: The prophet engaged (Khitbah) me when I was a girl of six. We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Harith Kharzraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage).
Hadeeth that mention marriage ~ "Nikah" at age of six.
Document B
Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3310: 'Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) married (Nikah) me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.
Document C
Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 88 Narrated 'Urwa: The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) (Nikah) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).
Document D
Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64 Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married (Nikah) her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).
Khitbah (engagement) and
Nikah (marriage) in the Arabic of the Hadeeth are two different words with abosulutely two different meanings.
*
Khitabah is before Nikah.
*
Nikah is the writen contract of marriage when dowery is given.
Do they not contradict ?
Where not finished yet heres more stuff.
Document E
Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 236:
Narrated Hisham's father:
Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married 'Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old.
The hadeeth above says our Prophet married (Nikah) Aisha (r.a.h.) in the second year of the Hijrah (not before the Hijrah as the other hadeeth
Document A expresses) when she was six years of age and then 3 years later when she was 9 years he consummated the Nikah (marriage).
Generally,
Document E hadeeth is used to dictated
Documents C & D hadeeths for the year Aisha got married at six to our Prophet. Thus contradicting the timeline that calculate her actual age as we have explained before on our previous posts.
Liberate, a zealous hater of Islam, used
Document A which contradicts
Document E to dictate the timeline period of the Nikah for
Documents B, C, & D.

Narated By 'Aisha : (The wife of the Prophet) I had seen my parents following Islam since I attained the age of puberty. Not a day passed but the Prophet visited us, both in the mornings and evenings. My father Abu Bakr thought of building a mosque in the courtyard of his house and he did so. He used to pray and recite the Qur'an in it. The pagan women and their children used to stand by him and look at him with surprise. Abu Bakr was a Softhearted person and could not help weeping while reciting the Quran. The chiefs of the Quraish pagans became afraid of that (i.e. that their children and women might be affected by the recitation of Quran)."
from her comment " I had seen my parents following Islam since I attained the age of puberty" suddenly he takes it to mean she was at puberty before her parents became muslims which the hadith does not say but which he interprets it to mean, and that this is referring to the Meccan period as opposed to after the Hijra in Medina in other words he is asserting a negative premise that Aisha was at puberty before her parents were muslims which the hadith does not say even the website source that he stated as opposed to sahih hadith (because he couldn't find any hadith to support his view) states that Aisha was "born a muslim":
One will wonder where H2O had asserted such a thing ? H2O never asserted that Aisha was at puberty
before her parents became muslim. In fact the hadeeth expresses her family being muslim while they were still in Makkah where she had already reached the age of puberty prior to the Hijrah.
Where did H2O assert that she got her puberty before her parents became muslim ? Lets recall on what H2O posted :

According to this she had gotten her period long before she married him which was before the Hijrah

She already reached puberty before they married when she was still living in Makkah before the Hijrah.

Aisha is speaking here about the Makkah period before the Hijrah. She began puberty long before the Hirah when she was still living with her parents in which she did not marry the Prophet until the second year after the Hijrah.

The time period of the above hadeeth being mentioned was before the hijrah when they were still living in Makkah.

We are still trying to find out where
Liberate got that
H2O was asserting that Aisha (r.a.h.) had reached the age of puberty before they became muslim. The Hadeeth it self makes it very cleary clear that they were already muslim when Aisha reached puberty in Makkah before the Hijrah.
Dont worry it not his first time tainting things. Must be the Cool Aid that he is drinking.
