Kai replies: Which 20%, are you referring to those questions you mentioned in your first post. Some of these we have answered several times on this forum, hence if you want answers why don't you do some research? Several of the questions you asked make no sense, which is why they are difficult to answer. But anyway let me try: Muslim gladiator wrote:
Kai replies: What story in John 8? And happy about what? There are at least three accounts in the chapter! Muslim gladiator wrote:
Kai replies: Could you please be a bit more specific here, which lying stories? Who is lying to whom? Muslim gladiator wrote:
Kai replies: I don't get your point here! Sorry bro! Muslim gladiator wrote:
Kai replies: Christians are in agreement with the Koran, that we still possess the text of the previous revelations; the Muslims are the only one's who willingly choose to disagree with their own Scripture. Muslim gladiator wrote:
Kai replies: In what sense, when you consider the full context of the account, does the phrase reveal that Jesus was not aware of his mission? Muslim gladiator wrote: Kai replies: Who gave you the idea that Mark is the only one who refers to this saying of Christ? The same passage is found in Matthew 27: 46! Somebody here likes to argue, but does not read the Bible! Muslim gladiator wrote:
Kai replies: I think I have already answered this? But let me add: The earliest fragments of the Gospels were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls, in what we call cave 7. Several other fragments from the epistles, such as the epistle of James were found next to it. They have been dated around year 60 AD or so. Other manuscripts such as the Magdalena manuscripts, which is a fragment of Matthews Gospel has also been discovered. Some scholar date it the first century AD, others the 2 century AD. A recent fragment of Luke has also been discovered, which has been dated the first century; but I have not had the time to assess this information yet. Then we have Chester Betty Papyri, which contains most of the New Testament. It dates 90-200 AD. It contains the four Gospels in one collection, and they have been dated 150 AD, some would say later. Chester Betty also contains all Paul's epistles except for the pastoral letters. This part of the Chester Betty has been dated by some year 90 AD. If you are interested the documents are keept in the Dublin Castle (Ireland) We also have Bodmer Papyrus II, which is John's Gospel, dated 150-200 AD, found in the Bibliotheca Bodmeriana (Geneva) Then there is the John Ryland, a fragment of John's Gospel, dated 120-130 AD, some would even date it 100 AD. It is found in the John Ryland University Library (Manchester, England). Muslim gladiator wrote: Kai replies: Exactly which verse are you referring to? |
