Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesCritical Identity of BaptismWhy would a "biography" of Jesus be "foundational to Christianity" (in DOCTRINE) but a "biography", in essence, of the EARLY CHURCH (Acts) not be? I would think that the record of how the early Church behaved, and quotes from the Apostles in the early Church, would be extremely vital, DOCTRINALLY, to Christians who are supposed to BE the Church today? Besides, didn't you or Omega quote this verse in passing lately - "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE..." (2Ti.3:16) Well, if you didn't, I'm sure you don't DISAGREE with it do you? Is the Book of Acts scripture? Is it then "profitable for doctrine"? |
