When taken in the full context of Biblical truth Acts does not present any problems to my overall doctrine. However, oneness advocates and the UPC is general have to ignore the balance of the NT to come up with tongues as the only sign of being baptized in the Holy Spirit and that Jesus is God's name.
Jesus is in fact a transliteration of the Greek name Joshua with the vowel points for lord and was first used the Catholic Church, which only demonstrates that hisway has not bothered to study the origins of a name he says is the only name used for God in the NT. There whole concept of Jesus name only is total fantasy.
I have already debunked his "baptized in the Holy Spirit" fantasy and he can't refute me so he has not bothered to respond. I have also debunked his "tongues" being a sign after baptizm and every other point he made on this thread.
The UPC teaches a gospel of works another gospel not taught by the Apostles or Jesus. And all you want to do is wrangle over words and pull partial posts out of context so you can declare false victories and have accomplished absolutely nothing with your rhetoric except show how little knowledge you have of God's word.
