I'm sorry, but the only persons who claim that the Bible is the authentic word of God are laymen or theologians. Even the most religious of Christian Historians admit that it is not the pristine word of God. They still believe it, which is their choice, but there is still doubt as to whether everything it contains was truly said by the people it claims to quote. On the other hand, academics and historians of all faiths and non-faith say that the Qur'an of today is the same one as was uttered by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The only difference is that people don't believe the Qur'an was divinely revealed to the Prophet. Notice the difference in "blind faith".
The most religious of Christian historians DO claim the Holy Bible is the word of God based on the evidence. But, in every religion there is going to be some that will have doubt but still ultimately believe. Does their doubt mean that the religion is false? People even doubt when the truth is right in front of them. Does that mean the truth is not the truth? So again, like I said before, there is so much evidence to support the Holy Bible despite ones own opinion. There is more evidence to support the Holy Bible than the Qu'ran. And I'm talking about physical evidence let alone the testimony of the Holy Spirit.
