Christian/Muslim ThreadsDebunking Abdurrahman: Pauls corruption of Jesus ChristAbdurrahman wrote: Kai replies: Then you agree that the first Christians believed in the resurrection of Christ, long before Paul managed to bring such doctrine into the Christian religion. Are you not not at this point contradicting your entire attempt to discredit Paul? I find you amazing bro One minute you present Paul as the inagurator of a corrupted Christianity and now you present the Jerusalem church as being corrupted with the supposed heresy of Paul, even before Paul ever converted; could you please make up your mind? Abdurrahman wrote: Kai replies: From where or how do you get your information? The Pharasees were involved in the killing of Jesus. The pharasees and other fractions were all responsible in Acts 4 and 5 to arrest the disciples; Gamaliel merely presented his own opinion, not the entire Pharasaic faction. Thus Gamaliel cannot help to confirm that the pharasees were friendly to the Jerusalem church. You need to read the Bible bro, rather than writing your own; that’s what it looks like to me! Abdurrahman wrote: Kai replies: I am not sure if Paul ever went to a concert…Joke So is he a Pharisee or a Sadducee? He cannot be both. Again is this merely an indication that you are simply posting plagiarized material, which you seem to have no insight in to? Speculation bro, could you please post the Scriptural evidence for your claim. There was a ruling council in Jerusalem, which consisted of the teachers and the elders; of these you had both Pharisees and Sadducees. If Paul, a Pharisee wanted to destroy the Christian church, he would easily get the Sadducee party in his favour. There is nothing in the text that suggests Paul to be a religious security agent, even less that he belonged to the faction of the Sadducees. Abdurrahman wrote: Kai replies: Now you are contradicting your first post, in which you indicated that the whole idea with Paul and Damascus was dubious. Abdurrahman wrote: Kai replies: Only because Acts makes no mention of his Arabian journey, does in no way suggest that the passages are in contradiction. Secondly, despite Ananias contribution to his conversion, there is no reference to Paul being instructed. |
