Christian/Muslim ThreadsChristianity: Man-Made Religion; Islam: Divine Principle.Peace H2O, Those links, read them, they are my research. Nothing was copied from any anti-Islamic site. Suppose the reality is to horrible for you to accept. New unheard of things written 100's of years after Jesus lived are falsehoods. Stories about baby Jesus talking and a date palm bringing fortha river, these things are not traced to any of the many preceding manuscriptes we have. They are the products of overactive imaginations. These are in the Quran. Unlike Christ, you cannot trace the lives of Mithra and Krishna in mnay OT prophecies. Those characters are indeed different than Christ anyways. Show me also where the modern stories of these two existed before Christianity. In the mean time I can do what you cannot do, quote selections of the Quran from apocryphal writings. I see myself as one who submits to God. What am I? I was talking about selections of Isaiah and the Psalms and other writings. In Wisdom of Solomon, written a few centuries before Jesus was born, chapter 2 talks about "the Son of God" being put to a "shameful death". How sure are you that is what people believed back then?? Remember Abraham lived 3000 years ago. What some twisted sects believed 1400 years ago in Arabia isn't worth a penny. Abraham has a real big family and He did sent Ishamel away as well as his many other sons. He kept Isaac. Isaac was his miracle child who bore his covenant. Would he leave his miracle son and his large family and fertile lands and go into the desert with a son whom he did send away and who was a child of a slavewoman and build a bif monument in the middle of nowhere??? For what people??? Ishmael and his sons are who populated the Sinai and later Arabia. The people of Abraham's time all lived in the fertile lands where he lived. Who?? Gnostics like Mani? popular cult leaders like Joseph Smith and David Koresh? These people weren't Christians? Do you have a true example of a Christian "prophet"? I know a great Christian Apostle, you would really like him if you met him, Paul. I think someone afraid would back away after saying things like you addressing me and challenging what I said and believe. Are you really like this??? I'm not inclined to believe that about you, but well I'll see if you respond. |
