Peace Believer,
This thread was written by me in order to distinguish the creation of a man-made and man-interpreted religion from a divine principle. It is obsurd to assume that God is the author of multiple religions or faiths, thus Judaism, Christianity, Catholicism, Protestantism etc. etc. are all man-made and man-interpreted religions. No where in the writings of the Bible do you find the mentioning of such religions, rather they were formed by later generations of man. These religions formed doctrines, ideas, understandings, interpretations. The later formed "Churches" and more specifically the Roman Catholic Church which has its influences from Roman and Greek mythology developed many ideas especially in order to convert gentile pagans.
While this thread was specifically about the development and institution of Christianity and Islam, you talk about Jinns as mentioned in the Quran, yet demons and non-human spirits are also mentioned in the Bible. If you want to talk about mythology, where do you think the concept of lucifer's angels - ie. vampires and dracula came from? The concepts of Evil demons and spirits and vampires comes from ancient Catholic and Christian mythology - you will notice that vampires are harmed in such mythology through the sight of a crucifix. Or what about witches? Remember when the Christian churches used to burn and crucify women alive because they were suspected of being witches? Or even the doctrine of Trinity, which resembles many Trinties in Roman, Greek and Egyptian mythology for example, Atum the Father, Horus the Son, and Ra the Holy Spirit were a Trinity in Egyptian mythology. Then you haev Christmas which was not the birth of Jesus Christ, rather a holiday was celebrated in Roman mythology as it was the birthday of the sun-god. Then you can go on with Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny, and telling these lies and fables to innocent young children, giving them reason to eventually not only give up on Santa Clause but also God Himself! There are thousands of concepts in Christianity developed from paganism - see the following site for more:

This thread however was not about doctrines and mythology, rather the institution and development of Christianity - which I challenged was a man-man and man-interpreted religion. I would appreciate if you would be able to refute the arguments presented in my previous post instead of changing the subject to myths.
