Peace Orthodox,
Beads is right, this is a discussion between Christianity and Islam. If you're not willing to discuss the man-made things in Islam, more importantly in the Quran itself, then we must assume you can't even defend what you believe.
The Easter bunny, Santa clause, Christmas trees, celebrating Christmas over an old pagan date, the priest's miter was used by mithraic priests, tec. These things have NOTHING to do with the Christian religion itself. These are added things do not alter the meaning of anything in the Christian religion.
About the Egyptian thing, I can't see how that is possible, where dod you copy that from?
I would proudly show you where the Son of God is DIRECTLY MENTIONED In Jewish scriptures. The Holy Spirit of Christianity is really not different at all from the Holy Spirit in the OT. That is what matters.
Anyways, these things are all added to Chrsitain society AFTER the religion.
The pagan myths and supersitions in Islam existed BEFORE your religion came about.
I would also add the the Easter bunny and Santa Clause and Easter egg hunts are much less serious then Muslims digging holes in their yards for the "jinn" to live in. At least the former are just believed in by children.
