زُوِّجَتْ = “zuwwijat”
“zuwwijat” definition:
Feminine singular. Is paired, united. As applied to 81.7…and when the souls shall be coupled, or paired, or united with their fellows; i.e. with their bodies: or, each with its register: or with its works: and those of the unbelievers with the devils: or when each sect, or party, shall be united with those whom it has followed. It comes from the root “zaja”, which means he coupled, or paired, a thing with a thing: united it to it as its fellow, or like. A sort of thing of any kind that is one of a pair or couple; either one of such two things; a sort of thing, absolutely: or a sort of thing having its like, as in the case of species; or having its contrary, as the moist and the dry, and the male and the female, and the night and the day, and the bitter and the sweet; though sometimes applied to any sort of thing; and to a single thing: or it is applied to a single thing only when having with it a thing of the same kind. A woman’s husband: and a man’s wife. A consociate, an associate, or a comrade; a fellow, or like; to marry anyone to, couple anything with, pair, mingle with. As used by mathematicians, i.e. it signifies and even number; a number that may be divided into two equal numbers; as for instance, four and eight, as opposed to three and seven. Also a kind of silk brocade.

Summary of 81.7:
• The Book of Revelation dictates Koranic Eschatology
• 81.7 begins with “wa-itha”, which is a continuation of 81.6, and can be rendered as “remember the time”…hence the information contained in this ayah also existed prior to it being penned in Arabic
• Revelation tells us that the ones gathered (unto the Lamb) are “makarios”, or blessed, happy
• Similarly, 81.7 tells us that the uniting of “alnufoosu”, or the souls, will be a cheerful event via the root “nafasa”
• Revelation regards this uniting as a “gamos”, or marriage, between the Lamb (i.e. Jesus) and His “gune”, or wife
• 81.7 also regards the uniting of the souls as a “zuwwijat”, or marriage
• Revelation tells us that His wife will be clothed in “bussinos”, or fine linen/garment
• The root “zaja”, of “zuwwijat”, in 81.7, also informs us that it refers to a kind of silk brocade
• It is clear that the author’s of the Koran understood what the “marriage” actually is, that takes place in Heaven. Furthermore, the “marriage” of the soul is to Jesus
