I agree with Colleen. Greg started this topic by stating that Jesus did not exist. Therefore, why not ask him why he believes this? Instead, you asked him to prove it was true, an impossible task. Just as it is impossible to prove that Jesus DID exist.
BC and AD are arbitrary. Tell me, when did people start using the terms BC and AD? It certainly wasn't during the time that Jesus supposedly lived. It was after the myth had been created.
You don't have to have absolute knowledge about a subject to make a statement. Opinions are based on what people believe, and belief is simply what a person accepts as real or true. People express opinions all the time.
Evolution has nothing to do with whether or not Jesus was real, but to correct your ignorance of the matter, Scorpion, nobody believes people were created from rocks, life is thought to have been created from organic molecules found either in meteorites or in volcanoes.
Doesn't the Bible teach that God created everything out of nothing? What's the difference between that and the big bang?
Kissing frogs??? Come on, that's a pretty weak argument. What's it even supposed to mean? Everybody accepts it as a fairy tale, what's it got to do with reality?
Doesn't the Bible say something along the lines of, "Seek and ye shall find"? Isn't this the same as asking questions? It's only because Galileo doubted the church that he discovered that the Earth revolves around the Sun. It's not a sin to doubt something. It's not a sin to ask questions.
At least it's good to see Aineo respects Colleens authority (which you don't, Scorpion).
