Re: The Passion - A Work Of Fiction

Both are fictional characters, the former made up by the unknown authors of the gospels and the latter by Tom Clancy. Which is not to say that The Passion is not a good movie. Mel Gibson is a great movie director (he won an Academy Award for Braveheart!) so it's likely he's made a really good movie. People should just be aware when they're watching the movie that it's not actually based on an historical account of events but rather a reworking of pagan myths which existed thousands of years before Christianity began.
This is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Jesus is not a fictional character. There's more evidence to support the existance of Jesus than you can imagine. And that' can even come from those who rejected Him. So next time you make blind statements like these....bring your proof.
