Yes, but Jesus is supposed to be an influential person. He is supposed to be the most influential person of the last 2000 years. Therefore you would think contempory historians would have written something about him. The fact that they didn't only demonstrates that if he existed they thought he was insignificant. If people in his own time thought he was insignificant, why should people today make such a big deal of him?
Adolph Hitler did not set out to start a new religion either, yet he wrote a book called "Mein Kampf".
So what if I can't prove Pythagoras or Homer existed. Maybe they didn't. The point is, JESUS didn't exist either.
You are right, I deny that there is a deity. I also deny that miracles occur. Anomalies and miracles are not the same thing. An anomaly is "anything which is irregular or different from what is normal". A miracle is "an event which is believed to have a supernatural or divine cause". It is therefore wrong to suggest that Stephen Hawking is a miracle. He is an anomaly, not a miracle.
