Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinesCatholicismHouse churches are not denominations, the difference between some denominations is government not doctrine, some denominations split over social issues such as the PCUSA and the PCA, and some denominations use different names in different countries such as the Church of England and the Episcopalian Churches. So you see Rome, you have posted more ignorance. I do not know of any mainline Protestant denomination that claims it is infallible. Protestant churches teach that God's word is inerrant and infallible, not men. John did not write that Jesus passed on hidden teachings that are passed orally. Paul taught his ethnic traditions to churches of mixed background and warned against the traditions of men, as did Peter. Philip taught the eunuch from the Scriptures not oral tradition, and the author of Hebrews labeled his audience dull of hearing and does not appeal to oral traditions. What you have demonstrated Rome is how men misuse Scripture for their own agendas. God prohibited images, eating blood, spiritualism, and called the queen of heaven heretical, all of which the Catholic Church teaches as coming from apostolic traditions. All anyone has to do to expose your "holy traditions" as the traditions of men is study the early church councils where men were divided over your "holy traditions". The Scriptures and history prove Catholicism is the largest apostate church in the world, and that is was apostate from its inception. When you cannot defend Catholicism's hypocrisy to you resort to posting lies. |
