We have to know the Old Testament to understand more completely the New Testament.
If you really believe what I bolded then why are you a member of the Catholic Church? If you really know the OT then you would understand the Catholic Church is so far off base it is not even in the game.
In all sincerity can you please clarify as to why you think the Catholic Church is "so far off base?" Truly, I come here to bring the light to you. I want to share the FULLNESS of my Catholic Faith with all of you. I am a Christian and therefore do not desire to argue with any of you.
The Catholic church is full of the Mercy of God. We have the sacrament of confession which gives mercy and also gives us the grace that we need to go on. We then partake of the Eucharist, because after all we cannot take Jesus and be in a state of sin. If that "wafer" were just a symbol, then why does it state so strongly in the Bible that if one partakes of it unworthily then we sin?

considerable number are dying.
