ArchivedThe Quran - Is pre-ordained sin mans responsibility?Well it’s not correct at all, but we forgive you Back to the subject: Suppose I am a Muslim who is seeking Salvation in Christianity and ready to accept Jesus as my Savior. However I have some questions that need some clarifications: If I was told that if I die on the cross, then my death will grant Salvation for all mankind and save them from the Original Sin, and I’ll be rewarded in Heaven by sitting right to God throne, then I would be the most happiest creature in this universe and I would hope to be crucified today and now before tomorrow. If you go asking the least human in this world that if he was crucified, then his death will bring Salvation for all mankind freeing them from Original Sin and will be rewarded in Heaven by sitting next to God throne, then this least human would never hesitate to give his life with a BIG smile on his face!!! My first question: 1- Why did Jesus pray and beseech God to "let this cup pass" (Matthew 26:39, Mark 14:36, Luke 22:42)? Even Matthew says that Jesus repeated this prayer 3 times? Why did Jesus want to escape his crucifixion? Was the redemption of mankind not so important any more? For 7 years I searched for a rational answer for my question and I didn’t find it! The most the church or the priest can say that this pray is coming from the human nature of Jesus; however his divine nature didn’t hesitate at all! However this response is more flagrant than the question itself. I told you that if the least person in this universe was asked to be crucified and be rewarded, then he will never hesitate. Should we consider Jesus less than the least? According to Christianity and the Gospels, the prayer of Jesus so God save him is nonsense. However according to Islam and the Noble Qur’an, this prayer might have some sense and reasonable explanation: Let me start from the beginning: Jews come to a point that they were so materials to the extent that they stopped believing in the Unseen. So God gave them a great sign of Unseen and anti-materialism so they might believe: This sign was a great messenger (Jesus) born without a father from a virgin and sent to the people of Israel to let them back to the Law of Moses. That's it! There's nothing about Son of God, or divinity of Jesus or God incarnate. This miracle was just a miracle of Unseen and anti-materialism to the Jews. In spite of this great miracles of Unseen, Jews didn’t believe in this miracle and they kept on their materialism, and instead they called the blesses Mary **** and the blessed Jesus ****. In "The Jewish Encyclopaedia," in twelve volumes, under the heading of "Jesus in Jewish legend" (Vol. VII, page 170-173), we are told that Jesus is referred to in Jewish references by such code names as "that man," "that anonymous one," "Yeshu," "bastard," "son of Pandera," "son of Stada," "Balaam," (destroyer of the people) etc. Most allegations which are associated with Jesus, concern themselves either with belittling the person of Jesus, ascribing to him illegitimate birth, ascribing to his mother Mary acts of whoredom, attributing to Jesus acts of black magic through the vain use of the given name of God, and attributing to him a shameful death as well as severe and denigrating punishment in the afterlife. Jewish records and laws claim that Jesus was born to a well known adulteress named "Mary," who conceived him through adultery with a Roman soldier who was named either "Pandera" or "Stada." Jesus is then claimed to have traveled to Egypt and entered into the service of magicians, he lusted after a woman and was excommunicated, he set up a brick as his god and led all of Israel into apostasy. He is claimed to have cut his magic formulas into his skin, by having taken a parchment containing the "declared name of God" and cut it into his skin in order to steal it from the Temple. All of his miracles were then performed through this stolen parchment which was later forcibly retrieved from him. It was Judas Iscarlot who volunteered to retrieve it from Jesus. An arial battle ensued between Judas and Jesus. Judas found that he could in no way touch Jesus so he "defiled" him. Judas emerged victorious and Jesus fled. Forty days before the condemnation of Jesus, a herald called upon anyone who could say anything in Jesus' favor. Not a single person came. The scholars of Israel then bound him to a pillar, however, his disciples attacked them and freed him. He disguised himself and rode an ass into Jerusalem, however, Judas saw through his disguise and exposed him. We are told that Jesus was then taken to be hung on the tree as the law required, however, he had conjured all of the trees with his black magic and none of them would receive him. Finally they hung him up on a large cabbage stalk which received him. After Jesus' body was placed in the tomb it disappeared and his disciples tried to claim that he had risen, however, it was later discovered that "Judas the gardener" had taken Jesus' body and used it as a dam to hold back the water in his garden. Jesus' body was then retrieved and flung before the Queen. Jewish Talmudic book Sanhedrin states: 1.Jesus was stoned and then "hanged" (crucified) (Sanh. 43a-45b) 2.Jesus' apostles were all killed (Sanh. 43a-b) 3.Jesus was crucified as a blasphemer (Sanh. 46a) 4.Jesus was burned after he was lowered into dung to his armpits with his mouth forced open and molten lead was poured in, burning his internal organs. (Sanh. 52a) 5.Jesus was strangled after being lowered into the dung (Sanh. 56a, 106b) 6.Jesus is in Hell where his punishment is boiling in hot semen. (Gitten 57A) 7.Jesus committed bestiality, corrupted the people, and is turned into Hell. (Sanh. 105a) 8.Jesus limped on one foot, was blind in one eye, practiced enhancement by way of membrum, committed bestiality with an ass, and was a fool who did not know his beast's mind. (Sanh. 105a, 105b) 9.Jesus attempted to seduce a woman, was excommunicated by a Rabbi, and then worshipped a brick. He was a seducer of Israel and practiced magic. (Sanh. 107b) 10.Jesus is the chief repository of the criminal law of the Talmud. (Sanhedrin index) That’s why the Jews wanted to kill him. However God Almighty saved him from their plot and rose Jesus to him alive. So may be this sincere prayers of Jesus in the Gospels was for that God save him from the unscrupulous Jews and that’s what happened. The reason why Jesus told us and insisted to keep the Law and why did he pray on that night is very reasonable and rational according to Islam. However it's nonsense according to Christianity. My second Question: Why when Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane did he plead with God Almighty and implore Him "Eloi, Eloi Lama sabachthani", meaning "my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Even the least human in this universe will never say these words if he knew that by his death the whole mankind will be saved and he will rewarded in heaven!!! Remember that when God told Abraham to sacrifice his son? Well according to the Noble Qur’an neither Abraham or his son did object; more we find that Abraham told his son that I am going to sacrifice you, and they were both hungry and on a hurry to please God. They never said: Of God why have you forsaken me? Why would Jesus say this words? And one more thing here: Why did Jesus said “Eloi” and not “Yahweh” if Yahweh is the real name of God? Note that considering the Aramaic language, Eloi means Allah (however this is not our subject). My third question: Well if Jesus was sent to all mankind, why did he refuse to heal the Canaanite woman’ daughter on the grounds and said that he was sent to the Jews alone "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel,"? According to Jesus' words in these verses, his mission was for the Jews alone, therefore it was not fitting for him to even heal a non-Jewess woman since in his own words "It is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it to dogs." Was Jesus to die on the cross for the Jews alone? Didn’t Jesus come to sinners and not to the righteous? Did he expect a sinner to be a believer? Well if Jesus was sent to all mankind, then why he spoke in obscure parables so that some persons would never understand and be forgiven? (Mark 4:10-12) Note that the verses said “OTHERWISE” so Jesus didn’t want those persons to be forgiven even if these persons were ready to see. I heard many excuses and explanations of these verses; however the word “OTHERWISE” ruined any possible explanation. Thank you Alexei |
