ArchivedThe Quran - Is pre-ordained sin mans responsibility?Peace to all, I don’t believe this is at all, for the devil knows that God is all-powerful. To suggest such a thing, is to show your complete ignorance!
The confusion is within your own scriptures and teachings. It astounds me to see that Christians believe that the only way to understand God’s word is with the spirit! In Islam, non-Muslims are able to understand the simple fundamentals of Islam without accepting Islam itself. It seems that’s not the case in Christianity. Shame really! This was not in discussion! Jesus was supposedly dead for three days and three-night right?
He committed suicide, because he intentionally killed himself. What is the debate here. I cannot believe you are objecting to the fact that “God” committed suicide when it is present in your Bible!
Carol, whenever you speak on Islam, do you mind if you can give me the evidence?
All God wants from His creations is to strive in His path and to do each action with sincerity and with the love of God. Allah said in these following hadiths: Truly of those devoted to Me the one I most favour is a believer who is of meagre means and much given to prayer, who has been particular in the worship of his Lord and has obeyed Him inwardly (1), who was obscure among people and not pointed our, and whose sustenance was just sufficient to provide for him yet he bore this patiently. Then the Prophet (pbuh) rapped his hand and said: Death will have come early to him, his mourners will have been few, his estate scant.[ It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Ibn Majah).] I agree with you 110% that we are all sinners. However, since we are only human beings and we are bound to continuously sin, Allah said: A man sinned greatly against himself, and when death came to him he charged his sons, saying: When I have died, burn me, then crush me and scatter [my ashes] into the sea, for, by Allah, if my Lord takes possession of me, He will punish me in a manner in which He has punished no one [else]. So they did that to him. Then He said to the earth: Produce what you have taken-and there he was! And He said to him: What induced you to do what you did? He said: Being afraid of You, O my Lord (or he said: Being frightened of You) and because of that He forgave him. It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah). A servant [of Allah's] committed a sin and said: O Allah, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you. It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari). O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it. [It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal).] What concept of Christianity can be fully understood? Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
