You have not established that we are to be "purged" of sin in purgatory. Our bodies return to dust. So our bodies are not going to heaven until Christ returns. So are you telling me that our spirit or soul has to be purged of bodily sins before we can enter heaven? If this is your contention then you are telling me that all men have an unclean spirit, or am I not understanding you?
You are starting to understand me! Its not the Spirit that will be purged, the Spirit will go directly back to God. And the body will turn to dust.
The soul will be purged if it enters purgatory.

The Jehova's Witnesses use their own translation, Mormons have an additional book called the Book of Mormon and the Unitarians deny the diety of Christ. Catholics use a Latin translation (Jerome's interpretation) of the Septuagint, which is a Greek translation of the Hebrew and add tradition.
I know.
