Well, lets see:
1 Sola Scriptura, is a method of understanding the Bible not a doctrine. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God.
2 Confession, 1 John 1:9 puts the lie to this assertion. We don't confess our sins to priests, which is a Catholic tradition.
3 Holy Eucharist, which we call communion or the Lord's Supper so you have this wrong. Or did you list this because of "transubstantiation"?
4 Purgatory, a false doctrine.
5 Many things about Mary; the Marian doctrines are "traditions of men"; cannot be established in the Bible and are heretical teachings.
6 Vicar of Christ: is a manmade title given to Boniface III by the Holy Roman Emperor in 604 A.D. There is no vicar of Christ on this earth. The Apostolic succession if another lie and a "tradition of men".
Only cults deny the Trinity, which can be discerned in Scripture by applying Scripture ony. So what is your point?
Acts 15:22-29
22 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas-- Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren, 23 and they sent this letter by them,
"The apostles and the brethren who are elders, to the brethren in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia who are from the Gentiles, greetings.
24 "Since we have heard that some of our number to whom we gave no instruction have disturbed you with their words, unsettling your souls, 25 it seemed good to us, having become of one mind, to select men to send to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 "Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will also report the same things by word of mouth.
28 "For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: 29 that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell. " NAS
Do you see keeping the Sabbath in these instructions? Furthermore Paul wrote:
Col 2:16-17
16 Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-- 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. NAS
”Sola Scriptura is Biblical”: Protestants hold that the Bible is our sole source of truth. Of course, this is not Biblical. For example: if Sola Scriptura is valid, where does the Bible list the books that should be included?
”The Jews accepted Sola Scriptura”. You can’t even recreate a sin offering using the Old Testament, so it would be impossible. Secondarily, there were three versions of the Old Testament during Jesus’ day; different groups trusted in different books.
Now you are getting ridiculous. We are not under the Law as Paul states in many of his apostles. Our sin offering is Christ. Protestants accept the OT as accepted by Orthodox Jews. The Septuagint that is used by the RCC and the Orthodox churches was compiled by Alexandrian Jews and included books of history that are not considered canon. The RCC even rejects 3rd and 4th Maccabees, which are part of the LXX.
The historical and theological roots of Christianity is Judaism for to accept their "scritpure only" position is valid. Jesus taught strongly against the "traditions of men", which the RCC appeals to extensively in promoting heretical doctrine.
”Pastors should be elected by church members”. Again, no Biblical basis for this. In Acts, the remaining 11 apostles fill the “seat” of Judas by drawing straws.
Who choose Paul, James, and all the other apostles? It sure wasn't any gathering of the original 11 who survived Judas was it? Some Protestant denominations assign pastors to churches just like the RCC does. So your blanket statement is false on its face. Churches "call" pastors based on their teaching. Paul told the Corinthians to follow the example of a man named Stephanas, who was a man he discipled, trained, and was not chosen by any of the 12 "apostles".
There is no Biblical basis for the Apostolic succession or the claim made by the RCC that Peter is the rock upon which Jesus would build His church. This is a private interpretation of the RCC that is rejected by the Orthodox and Protestant churches.
Protestants have a "tradition" where they think they can all self interpretate the bible.
Protestants base their doctrines on Scripture and unlike the RCC do not accept the "traditions of men" that void God's truth.
Ofcourse this is why they have so many denominations.
As per your own post their are "denominations" in the RCC that have their own "traditions and catechism" so you are voiding your own argument.
