Acts 17:10-11
11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so. NAS
The Bereans accepted and practiced Sola Scriptura and Paul praised them as being more noble-minded than those who do not!The words "Scripture only" may not be in the Bible, however the concept is there in black and white. Any person who searches the Scriptures can discover for themselves the number of Catholic "traditions" are pulled from pagan mythology and worship.
As to Apostolic traditions, if St. Augustine teaches that the "rock upon which Christ built His church was Himself, that particular tradition is false. St. Augustine is credited with formulating modern Christianity is one of the RCC proclaimed church fathers.
In his 13th sermon, preserved I believe by divine intent, Augustine made his belief perfectly clear.
“Thou art Peter, and on this Rock – petra – which thou hast confessed,
on this rock which thou hast known, saying: ‘Thou art Christ, the Son
of the living God,’ I will build my church upon Myself, who am the Son
of the living God; I will build it on Me, and not Me on thee.”
Moreover, Augustine’s conviction – based on a correct interpretation of the Scriptures - that Jesus Himself was the foundation rock of Christianity, was shared almost 100% by the churches existing at that time.

Now, can Catholics show us where "your traditions" are founded in Scripture? Even Catholic apologists admit there is little to no Biblical evidence to establish the Marian doctrines.
Matt 24:4-5
"See to it that no one misleads you. 5 "For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many. NAS
How much do you know about your own churches teachings?
When Pope Pius IX was Archbishop of Venice, he stated: 'The pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ Himself, hidden under the veil of the flesh. Does the pope speak? It is Jesus Christ who speaks. Does the pope accord a favour or pronounce an anathema? It is Jesus Christ who accords the favour or pronounces that anathema. So that when the pope speaks we have no business to examine.'

This is heresy and blasphemy based on Roman Catholic Church "traditions".
The perpetual virginity of Mary can be shown Scripturally to be false and I can show this in the OT, the Scriptures available to the Bereans.
Ps 69:8-9
8 I have become estranged from my brothers,
And an alien to my mother's sons.
9 For zeal for Thy house has consumed me,
And the reproaches of those who reproach Thee have fallen on me. NAS
Add to this the Greek "adelphos" and "adelphe" are
never used in the Bible to indicate a blood relationship other than the brothers and sisters born of the
same mother when kinsmen are the context.
Catholic "traditions" cannot be established Biblically or even historically.
