ArchivedJudging & Testing God??Peace Webmaster, We believe that he will come back down at the end of time, and will disprove the claim of his enemies the Jews that they killed him, and will disprove the claim of the Christians that he is God or the son of God, and he will not accept anything from them but Islam. Al-Bukhaari (2222) and Muslim (155) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, soon the son of Mary will descend among you [according to another report: the Hour will not begin until the son of Maryam descends among you] as a just judge. He will break the cross, kill the pigs and abolish the jizyah, and money will become abundant until no one will accept it.” “Soon” means it will inevitably happen quickly. “will descend among you” means among this nation. “A just judge” means that he will come down and rule according to this sharee’ah( Islamic Law) and that this sharee’ah will remain and not be abrogated, rather Jesus will be one of the rulers of this nation. “He will break the cross and kill the pigs” means he will declare as false the religion of the Christians by breaking the cross in a real sense and proving false the Christians’ claims and veneration of the cross. “And he will abolish the jizyah" ( The tax payed by non-Muslims residing in an Islamic state). “Money will become abundant” – the reason for this abundance will be the descent of blessings and the spread of goodness because of justice and the absence of oppression or wrongdoing. At that time the earth will bring forth its treasures, and desire to keep money will decrease because they will know that that Hour is at hand. Then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him. To correct his people, once they had deviated. He also sent an angel to them. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad also spoke to God, and he too was accompanied with an angel. All the Prophets and messengers had the support of this one angel. It was not intended. We believe that those books are not complete in terms of law and such, and that a lot of those books are centred on the Jews, because it was meant for them. Unlike the Quran, in which God says “O mankind…” or “people of the scriptures” or “children of Adam”. Allah did not promise to guard the Injil and the Torah, because they were books only meant for the Jews. You might be wondering why He didn’t guard it. We believe it’s because God already knew that He was going to send down a book, addressed to all mankind, and that it would last until the judgement. For that to occur, God had to put new laws in the Quran to be able combat the problems that were going to arise. You must also understand that we reaffirm the true teachings of Jesus and Moses, which was that there was only one God. Allah tells us in the Quran: “And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say (to them, O Muhammad), "Nay, (We follow) only the religion of Abraham, Hanifa [Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)], and he was not of Al-Mushrikûn (those who worshipped others along with Allah)” (2:135) Do you mean the “word” to be the Bible? We believe that the Quran was mentioned in the original scriptures given to Jesus and Moses. If you had these original scriptures, you would have found the Quran mentioned in them. As Allah says: “And verily, it ( the Quran) is (announced) in the scriptures (i.e. Torah and the Gospel) of former people” ( 26:196). We don’t believe the Bible to the Torah and the Injil that was given to Moses and Jesus respectively. And Allah knows best. Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
