ArchivedJudging & Testing God??Peace Believer, I’m curious to know Believer; do you even know the meaning of the word infinite? Infinite means without limit in power, capacity, knowledge, or excellence; boundless; immeasurably or inconceivably great; perfect; as, the infinite wisdom and goodness of God http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=infinite The actual word negates your claim that God limited His infinite powers. Such a thought is beyond impossible. It is due to God’s infinite powers that makes Him our creator, and the all-powerful God. You know Believer, back in my homeland; there were a certain group of people who used to perform black magic. And people would often go to them for guidance. Now these wicked people worked with the Jin, and in return the Jins would tell them things. For example a person would come to see them and in order to convince that person that they are divine somehow, they would tell that person things about them; personal things. Such is an example of a woman I knew, she went to such a group for Guidance ( May Allah forgive her of her sins), and to convince her they were genuine in their claims, they told her of when her husband had died, how he died and what she had told him on his death bed. They reminded her of her secret abortion. They had told her who her father is (she had a DNA test and they were right) and what country he lived in. Now these people are not Godly, and they do not possess any traits of God. I guess my point is that to know such things does not make you omniscient. Jesus was a Messenger of God, and just like Muhammad, he knew of these things, because it is from the knowledge of God. God does not need to experience such feelings to know what I’m going through. The Quran says that he is closer to us than our jugular vein, meaning He knows of our every movement, of our every thought, and all that we experience and feel. To say that God needed to come down to Earth, to relate to my experiences is just being silly. God will automatically know when I’m feeling depressed, anxious or frustrated. He created me, so how can He not know? And it is only God that removes the burden, and that is why I turn to Him, for He is the All-powerful the All-knowing. The verse clearly says the Jesus was tempted by Satan. It doesn’t mean that Satan was victorious, but to even say that Satan tempted “God”, is neglecting the attribute that God is all-powerful. If Jesus was indeed God, Satan would not even dare to make such an attempt. Believer, it would help me if you would use the common sense God gave you. The verse is explaining that as Jesus grew he was filled with wisdom. I don’t know how better to explain it. I presumed the verse was self-explanatory. So who are these fools that the verse is speaking on? It’s the gentiles! So tell me why is “God” calling his creations swine? Were all gentiles disobedient to “God” at that time in order to be called swine? I think not. God Almighty likens the creation of Jesus to the creation of Adam. For both God said “Be” and with that they were created. As Allah says in the Qur’an: “Verily, the likeness of ' Jesus before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he (Adam) was.” (3:59). Truthseeker: Truthseeker, I pray to God that He may guide you to the straight path and make you among the believers. I commend you on your mission to find the truth. Ask many questions, for it is the only way you will learn. Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
