ArchivedJudging & Testing God??Peace all, Once you say that “God” has limited his infinite powers, then he is no longer infinite. Hence, Jesus cannot be God. No I don’t believe am arrogant. The question should be, are you that naïve? If the Bible said that the sky was green, and you could see that it was blue, you would still try to convince yourself that it was green. No and No! If you believe that such things only happen in those places, I suggest you get out more. Did I write that he did? Ofcourse it’s silly! If you say that God already knows what I’m going through, then why does He need to come down to Earth? He created us, why does He need to become one of us, to understand us? No the Quran and the Hadith make it clear that the dust is from the dust of the Earth. We believe that the earth was made wet, and he was created from clay like substance. Neither did I. Why? Did you evolve from apes? “God” came into the world like all children come into the world? As I have already said many times before, God has no beginning and no end. Yep, my last year in VCE (our version of HSC) I am not knowledgeable in Islam; I’m just a student of knowledge. However, ask me any question that you want, if I don’t have the answers, I’ll search them up for you. But can I ask you not to post a lot of the questions at once, because I’m in the middle of my exams. Omega wrote: The Quran does not assert such things. On the contrary it condemns the concept that God could beget a son. Since you didn’t answer my question, I will repeat it, and I would appreciate it if you would answer it. When it says that “Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father, begotten not made”, what you are trying to emphasise by the statement ‘begotten not made’. What are you really trying to tell me? If Adam was made, and all of mankind are created, then what does the statement imply? I believe its pointing out that the Father had sex with Mary, and thus Jesus was begotten. However, if you have a better explanation, I would really like to see it. Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
