Trinitarians do not take all Scripture into account or you would address Jesus' words in John 17:3 and what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 8:6. A triune greeting does not equate to God being a Trinity. If we use your logic then when Paul includes others in his greetings Paul is teaching they are one in substance and nature. Included in the section of the triune greeting is the phrase "My God". Now are you going to appeal to your tradition or explain how God has a God? Trinitarians totally ignore the OT Messianic prophesies, which was adequately shown on threads in the Trinity Debate Forum, Trinitarians totally ignore that Jeremiah refers to Yahweh as the true God, that Jeremiah tells us that Yahweh is the Father, that Jesus refers to the Father as the only true God, that Paul wrote there is but one God the Father. You see Apple Pie you have not taken all Scripture into account or you would have addressed all those Scripture that disprove the Trinity.
As to sounding upset what you judge as upset is an expression of disgust, disgust for an individual who appeals to Islam, wrangles over words, and avoids direct questions like the plague. Trinitarians like you are modern day Pharisees in that they do handsprings to justify their favorite doctrine. I know I used to be a Trinitarian until the Messianic prophesies and the words of the Lord opened my mind to God’s truth.
Tell me Apple Pie since you were around when God dictated the Torah to Moses, what does the use of the plural pronouns in Genesis indicate when juxtapositioned with all the 1st person singular pronouns used for God the Father? Now, without wrangling over words show me the Trinity in the OT where the prophets stand on the absolutely oneness of the Father who alone is the only true and wise creator God. The fact is you cannot or you would have used those verses instead of appealing to word games that fall apart when analyzed within the full context of the OT.
Your appeal to Jesus quoting the Shema as your proof that God is actually triune. However, since Paul was the apostle to the gentiles who would not have understood your Trinitarian bias don’t you think if Paul was a trinitarian he would have said so in plain language instead of writing there is but one God the Father? But logic goes out the window when trinitarians seek to label the Holy Spirit a liar, since it was the Holy Spirit who inspired the prophets to teach the absolute oneness of God as well as Paul’s epistles that also teach that God the Father is the only true God and that Jesus is a man who is the only mediator between God and man.
Upset? No I am not upset, I am disgusted that you refuse to discuss God’s word, but then I should not be since we are told that many are called but few are chosen and that men will follow cleverly devised myths instead of the one true God.
Now, unless you are willing to address those Scriptures that disprove the Trinity I will delete all your posts that avoid my questions. Word games are, to quote Shakespeare “the primrose way to the everlasting bonfire”.
