Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesOneness debateTrinitarians make the same claim for the Trinity you make for your theology. Therefore by defeating the Trinity you are also defeating the duality of Jesus. Unitarians (those who reject both the duality of Jesus and the Trinity) can also make the same claim. So the determining factor of who is right and who is wrong is the Bible. "Morfee" does not indicate one's inner nature, it indicates one's physical appearance. One aspect of your theology is that the duality of the Lord cannot be established in prophesy. From Genesis through Malichi the promised Messiah is never described, prophesied, or referred to as God in the flesh. In fact the first Messianic prophesy plainly states that the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head. The seed of a woman is not God in the flesh. Moses defeats your interpretation of the NT when he wrote: Now Moses did not have a dual nature and was totally human. Peter quotes this prophesy in Acts 3 as proof that Jesus is the long expected prophet like Moses. David wrote of the Messiah: The Hebrew translated "Lord" is "adown" or "adoni" and is never used in the OT to refer to the only true God. "Adown" or "adoni" always refers to a human being. So you see Donny Cage, your study has been exposed as both superficial and incomplete. Jesus is a man who was born of a woman, a prophet like Moses, who God highly exalted as the only mediator between God and man, was appointed by God as God's heir, and was chosen by God to be King of kings and Lord of lords for all who are saved by God's grace through faith in the man Jesus the Christ. |
