So what you are saying is that He calls His divine nature "You" and His human nature "Me"??? Even If He had 2 natures, if His Father and Him were the same person (One Person), the context of John 17:23 and the distinction made between Him (Jesus) and His disciples (them) would logically read as:
Here is how it originally reads:
John 17:23 - I in them, and thou (Father) in me (Christ), that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Here it is according to your context:
John 17:23 - I in them, and I in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that I hast sent me, and hast loved them, as I hast loved me.
Do you notice how Jesus says "hast loved them, as thou hast loved me? So Jesus essentially Loves Himself according to your theory. What does it mean when Jesus says that the Father would love them AS the Father has loved Him? AS refers to "in the same manner," so if Jesus and His Father were the same person, How can the Father love them AS the Father loves Jesus?
This is why I am not a Christian, because of the mass confusion, Jesus is God, Jesus is not God, Jesus and His Father are the same person, Jesus and His Father is not the same person, which one is it? I do however have Christian co-workers and their laughing at your logic. Your ignoring simple grammar, context and logic!
Sincerely,
Superman
