Sorry Webmaster I eat pork or anything else that pleases me. However your remark of me throwing the Word of God into a trash heap will be remembered by more than just me.
What Peter figured out that ALL physical food was clean and the dietary laws were given so that good from evil spiritual food could be discerned.
This is why Paul had contempt for those who were only able to handle milk and not meat. They had not yet had their senses exercised to distinguish between good an evil. Being as he was referring to those who were teaching but still needed to be taught I can relate to his contempt. (Try reading the end of He.5 and the beginning of chap 6)
Aineo you just don't get it. The law of sin is a spiritual law that lives in your flesh. IT IS NOT THE LAW OF GOD THAT WAS GIVEN TO MOSES.
Consider the two main words of law and sin. The word law means that it is something that is always present Like the law of gravity it is always present however there are opposing laws to it and is why I used it earlier. The word sin can be either a verb or a noun but in this case in Romans it is a noun, a principality, a LIFE GIVING FORCE that lives in the flesh by law. Check out either Vines or the Key Study Bible for some pretty good definitions of both the uses of sin. (verb or noun) The law of sin is the presence of evil in you, me and everyone else that has been born on this earth from a human father and mother.
Paul is talking of the same law in the flesh in 2nd Corr we he speaks of a “thorn in his flesh the messenger of Satan” Now unless you think somehow a thorn was stuck in the body of Paul with a note from Satan attached to it I suggest you and your leader start putting your heads in your hands while on your knees and pray for a little revelation.
