Greetings in His Name
I was not going to respond to Aineo’s demeaning comparison between a cult and me because the lack of revelation not yet made available to him is not a negative anymore than one whom can drive a car but cannot fly a plane, would not some day make a good pilot Eventually we will all come to the truth and see more than just “darkly”. Whatever insight and blessing I have received is due to Him and not me and I neither boast of myself nor my friends but Him who has been exceedingly merciful to all of us.
On the other hand Newseed has introduced a very damnable heresy that he has absolutely no scripture to support it, not even one. The only saving face that he (or her) has is that it is a common error and of the traditions of man that unfortunately causes much of the Church to remain in Babylon. For those whom do not know why Jesus cries His Own to come out of Babylon in Revelation it is because Babylon stands for confusion and false worship.
Reading in “context” is fine for learning the milk of the Word but if one wants to move beyond the status quo Christian they need to learn the laws for determining truth as well as the dietary laws AND APPLY THEM TO SCRIPTURE!!!!!!
Newseed has no scripture to support his (her) “context theory” yet the Bible is rich with verses that support what I am saying as well as what Paul is saying in 1st Corr.
1st Corr.2: 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
God is Spirit, His Word is Spirit and the Holy Bible is His Word. It is a means to an end and if what I have just stated about His Word is not acceptable to you folks then we have no common ground whatsoever.
Comparing God’s Word with God’s Word is comparing spiritual things with spirit and if you deny that you are in contempt of God’s Holy Word. Furthermore Isa. 28 is largely dedicated to just that concept and the failure for not acquiring this knowledge is sated plainly in verse 13. Precepts are God’s laws and if you care to you check that claim out you can do so with any number of Hebrew dictionaries.
Isa.28: 9-13
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
Consider Prov.25: 2
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
Now consider verse 11
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
In verse 2 the words “thing” and “matter” as well as “word” in verse 11 are all the same word in the original language and it means just that, It is God’s Word. Paul is saying the same thing and that is if you want to know wisdom that is from above (God has hidden the undersatanding meant only for Kings as Jesus also said understanding parables was not for everyone) and not of earthly wisdom that will answer the “mysteries’ of the Bible, you need to get with the program and quit studying the Bible like you would a book of earthly wisdom.
The dietary laws are another example of Gods ways versus mans ways.
Meat (serious knowledge He.5: 12,14) that is acceptable comes from an animal that stands on the cloven hoof. The cloven hoof is a two-piece hoof…..two witnesses, the same two witnesses that Moses, Jesus, and Paul all said were the minimum needed to establish truth. “Chew the cud” because the food (message, word, knowledge) needs to be presented in a manner that can be digested. IF THE INTENDED RECIPACANT OF THE KNOWLEDGE IS NOT MATURE ENOUGH TO DIGEST THE PRESENTABLE FOOD THEN IT WILL CHOKE THEM AND KILL THEM.
That is why I have left this forum as you are not yet ready however you can be by learning some of the scriptures that I have just presented to you and throwing out your “context” theory. It is not a matter of anyone achieving more, it is a matter of me submitting to His Laws and not you as of this point
Newseed Wrote
Taking snippets of verses just doesn't cut it. If it did, then Bible could be interpreted in hundreds of ways.
IF NEWSEED HAD TAKEN THE TIME TO READ THE SCRIPTURE REFERENCE I GAVE IN LEV. 5 INSTEAD OF JUST SHOOTING OFF AT THE MOUTH………He (her) would have seen that a verse that is contrary to a doctrine cannot be omitted without the person that is doing so being charged for committing a sin. One cannot bend the scriptures to suit them without being held responsible, so says the Law of God.
Lev.5: 1 And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity
I would continue but I doubt that any good is being done here but in closing I will point out one more scripture in thought that you should be able to easily find in scripture. When Jesus told them to shake the dust (man is dust those who preach the gospel are the feet of the Body of Christ) off their feet and move on was because nobody in that town would hear them.
Now you see why I am moving on. I am just being obedient. However I would rather be wrong about you folks not being ready (able) to hear. If so I would happily return and labor without growing tired.
If that is not the case my hope for you is to grow in grace and in the love of one who thought it well to suffer and die for us.
Peace, Blessings and Much Love in Christ
