Sorry if my post was misleading
Sin is the life giving force and is the fallen spirit that you were born with.
Ps.51: 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
The "law" as given to Moses was weak because it could not give life as the Holy Spirit does that we are raised with (if we are crucified with Christ)
A "law" means that it is always present and this is the dilemma that Paul faced.
Consider the law of gravity as an example. If a rocket is on a launch pad it is held to earth through this law that is always present but if a greater law of propulsion comes into play, then gravity may be overcome. So is the relationship between the Law of Sin and the Holy Spirit
We are subject to the Law of Sin because of its continuos presence but through the Law of Life in Christ Jesus (aka Holy Spirit) we may overcome the Law of Sin. The Law of Sin is the dominion of Satan who is the ruler of the world by permission of God but Jesus is a name above all principalities and powers.
This is the law that should not have dominion over us. Anyone who is not willing to subject themselves to the Law of God is subject to condemnation. Jesus put an end to the laws regarding blood sacrifices by being a better sacrifice in himself however we are not excluded from condemnation for violation of the law. If we were then you can throw the ten commandments out and I don't believe anyone here intends to do that.
When we fail we have forgiveness through grace but should we sin so that grace abounds..God forbid. Through Him we too may fulfill the law.
The greater picture of being "saved" is to be able to overcome as He overcame.
Re 2 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 28 And I will give him the morning star.
Peace and Blessings
