Purgatory is a pagan belief imported into an apostate Christian belief system that denies the truth of God's word.
1 John 5:10-12
10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness that God has borne concerning His Son. 11 And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. NAS
Catholicism's "holy traditions" and heretical doctrines try to make God out to be a liar. What is telling about your response concerning Lazarus vs. your parable about paying debts is your parable does not take into account that with the resurrection of the Lord the certificate of debts against those who live by faith has been cancelled. Those who believe God are cleansed of all unrighteousness and so not have to be purged of anything.
I have not denied you have explained purgatory, but you have yet to prove that purgatory is a valid concept based on the whole word of God. When one or two verses of Scripture are taken out of context one can prove almost anything including reincarnation.
Now, since you refuse to discuss and your only agenda seems to be to lecture this thread is closed as will any other thread you start where you refuse to address God's word in its entirety.
