Real saints? Who is referred to as saints in Scripture?
Romans 1:7
7 to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. NAS
Romans 8:26-27
26 And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. NAS
1 Corinthians 1:1-3
1:1 Paul, called as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 to the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. NAS
2 Corinthians 1:1-2
1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. NAS
Ephesians 1:1-2
1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and who are faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. NAS
Those in Christ both the living and the physically dead are saints. It is sheer arrogance of men to think they can determine who is or is not worthy of entrance into God's heaven, especially since Jesus promised that those who do the will of the Father and endure to the end will be saved without reference to sin.
You're gonna fall into the rut of proclaiming that you already have salvation and will go right to heaven, that last thing the Bible doesn't say, that's assumed by many, but anyway you're not ready to exist in Heaven right this instance, nor am I.
Like all Catholics you accept as God's truth the philosophies of men that deny God's truth. Jesus told woman who anointed His feet:
Luke 7:50
50 And He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." NAS
Catholicism like Islam emphasises works over faith. Works will not save anyone is their works are not from faith, since a true faith in God and His Messiah results in good works that glorify the Father.
Colossians 1:9-14
9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. NAS
Purgatory is a lie from the pit of Hades.
As to what is and is not Scripture, God decides what is and is not His word and He gave the Jews authority to determine and preserve His word, not pagan Greeks who decided that Gnostic writings such as the Wisdom of Solomon are inerrant.
