ArchivedChristadelphianismJust by a simple paraphrasing, I can refute the false teaching that Christ is not God. I'm quite sure that those who are in opposition will try and worm their way out with Gnostic teachings or the excuse of "Ones own interpretations" so too "God" can include both Father and Son as a class of being, as in John 1:1 John 1:1 - In{en} the beginning{arche} was{en} the Word{logos}, and{kai} the Word{logos} was{en} with{pros} God{theos}, and{kai} the Word{logos} was{en} God{theos}. Furthermore it is apparent that the "Word" was in the beginning. and that later the "Word" was made flesh (became a human being). Thus John speak of Jesus, and thus He was in the beginning, as God. Is this so hard to understand? Unless one has a pre-existing doctrine that they are trying to support? God Bless! |
