Hello Omega,
Want to know the difference between what you preach and what I preach? I don't preach commentaries by Tennant who preaches His own Gospel.
I don't preach commentaries by Tennant, and I don't preach dodgy sites, like the one you quoted from, which get our beliefs all wrong.
- 2 Corinthians 5:21 - For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- 1 Peter 2:22 - Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
- 1 John 3:5 - And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and (in him) is no sin
Amen.
So the doctrine of original sin pertains to Jesus?
That isn't what I said. Read my post above again.
This is my question: Do *you* believe in the doctrine of Original Sin?
I quoted a commentary by a Christdelphian in which you stated that they have taken their teachings out of context
No, the site you got it from got it out of context.
and you claim what I avoided seeing, what have I avoided seeing?
You enlarged a part of the text which gave the impression that Tennant was calling Christ a sinner, which he wasn't. He was simply drawing to the reader's attention that others called him such. You ignored what Tennant actually did say, which is what I enlarged.
I have not avoided anything my friend I merely presented a commentary,
So far, you have avoided actually responding to my posts above. So come on, how about you get on and address them?
whether you agree with it or not is not the point.
Yes it is. If you have got what we believe wrong, you have nothing to refute.
My point is I have presented Biblical Truth in a nutshell, now the question is do you agree with the above?
Which part of the above? The bit I said 'Amen' to?
Very simple very easy, your only making it complicated my friend.
What is complicated?
- If I read that we are accused of calling Jesus a sinner, and this is not our belief, then I have the right to point it out to you.
- If I read that we are accused of believing that Jesus needed to be saved from sin, then I have the right to point out that we don't believe this.
Is that complicated?
To accuse us of believing something we don't is called 'Slander'.
God Bless!
