Occult.. it's true power source? The Right Wing church has perverted christsMatt 5:16
16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. NAS
Rom 3:19-20
19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may become accountable to God; 20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. NAS
Rom 3:27-29
27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. NAS
Gal 2:16-17
16 nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified. NAS
Gal 3:1-3
2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? NAS
Eph 2:7-10
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, that no one should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. NAS
James 2:17-19
17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. 18 But someone may well say, "You have faith, and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works." NAS
The “works” James speaks to are visiting widows and feeding the poor, which is what Jesus taught. Jesus demonstrated the hypocrisy of the Pharisees by comparing adherence to the minutia of the law by tithing luxuries and then not honoring their parents, which is good works. Paul teaches that keeping the letter of the law will not save you, which is why it was necessary for Christ's first appearance. James states that his faith is shown in his good works. Paul and James are teaching the flip sides of the same coin, Paul says works of the law does not save you and James says that your faith is shown, or proved by your good works that glorify God.
Jesus taught that a good tree bears good fruit, Paul teaches that if you are one with Christ you will display the fruit of the Spirit, so where are Paul’s Epistles counter to Christ’s teachings?
