James
The only thing that changed Biblically about homosexuality is that we are no longer expected to kill gay people. Fortunately, with the birth and death of Jesus Christ, gay people - like all sinners - are able to go to Him and seek forgiveness for their sins.
However, homosexuality was, is and always will be an abomination. It was an abomination in the OT, and it is in the NT.
I have no doubt that you have a good heart, James. However, what you are doing is a thousand times more hateful than what those misguided fools in the Westboro cult are doing, because you are encouraging homosexuals to continue to participate in a sinful lifestyle.
Finally, please stop accusing Aineo of doing something he is not guilty of. Aren't we warned against making false accusations? Aineo is not petty. He is capable of debating someone without resorting to under-handed tactics. Clearly, he has been insulted by some of the things you've said to him. What you need to do is contact him privately and work this out.
You had a problem with him accusing you of using gay theology. I'm backing him up on this. Even though you're not gay, you are using the same tactics gay people use to justify what they are doing. You're using the fact that Jesus never mentioned homosexuality and twisting it to fit your POV. That is exactly what gay theologists do. I suggest that you work things out with Aineo. Then, you can ask him for specific examples of gay theology. He's an expert on the subject. Go to his website, and I'm sure you can track down his email address.
We would all appreciate it if you would stop accusing Aineo of attempting to censor you, just because your beliefs don't mesh with his. That is not true, and you know better.
