Although we as humans percive one sin to worse than the other the bible does not say that there are levels of sin.
Face it.....it dosnt state hey you kinda sined therefor you will go to a quazi hell.
No it is quite black and white (unlike life) Sin is Sin and thats about it.
Does it state a differance between thinking of a sin and actually commiting it?
No I cant find that it does it simply states it is sin to think of it is to have sined already in your heart.
To do it is to have sined before god.
Both ways you look at it its still sin and there arnt levels of sin or so called hell.
(times like this I wish I had actually finished theology class *sigh*)
But quite simply the excuses of thinking /acting /sins has been twisted to fit needs as they may fall into the persons lap.
Its kind of like the biblical definition of adultery......changes so that it dosnt have to apply to those who dont want it to.
When in fact it still does.
I already gave you a biblical example in my post of the "greater" sin. Jesus said it Himself, He actually said Pilate has not committed the "geater"sin (John 19:11). Yes sin is sin, but there is no contradiction if you say a sin is greater than another. Isn't chicken chicken? But that does not mean White Castle Chicken can't be worse than KFC Chicken (did that come out right?
). Anywayz, I'm hungry.
