So, if I want to know what's a sin, I look at the consequences, eh? The fruit? I have an uncle who had a daughter, his first and only, when his wife was in her early forties. They had been trying to have a child all their lives, and finally the baby was born. And a month later, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Does that mean that having the baby was a sin?
Bad things don't always yield bad results. Saying that you can spot a sin from its fruits is not an accurate statement at all. Also, bad results don't always come from a bad cause. People have also gone to jail for being wrongfully accused.
You also mention that homosexuality yields AIDS and drugs. Well, having sex with anyone has a possibility of producing AIDS, not just someone of the same gender. And drugs? Not all gay people are drug addicts, what do you mean by that?
All in all, just because a homosexual lifestyle can produce AIDS doesn't prove that it's a sin, because any lifestyle has the potential of doing that. With that said, how do you prove that it's a sin?
It sounds to me like you're confusing gay people with gay drug addicts who sleep around. Not every gay person does drugs, and not every gay person has AIDS. You know that. Everyone knows that. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.[/quote]
