ArchivedMistakes, and imperfections in the QuranNaaji, what do you mean the NT isn't prophesied in the OT? I told you the NT is about Jesus dying on the cross and resurrecting. I gave you evidence of that, thus proving my point. Now I see you have another problem, which is interpreting scripture. I am not going to give you my opinion on these scriptures, but I will tell you what they mean. Surely you will agree with me. Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. Naaji, does father and son start with capital letters? God is not talking about Him and Jesus. He is talking about our father and our son on earth. If your father sins, you are not responsible for it, and if you sin, your father is not responsible for it. We all are responsible for our own sin. That is what God means. Ezekiel 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die Shall live and not die means on earth. You shall live a long life on earth and not die young. And even if God is talking about the afterlife, you have to remember that this is the Old Testament. This was for back then. We are under a new covenant now. Yes we shall still follow the laws of God, but you first must accept Jesus and believe He died for your sins. There is nothing wrong with praying five times a day, fasting, or doing the rituals Muslims do. But when you do not believe Christ died for you, you are doing all of those things in vain. When Jesus was arguing with the chief priests, do you think He was arguing with them because they didn't follow the laws? He was arguing with them because they did not accept Him as the Messiah, the one who would die on the cross for our sins. You Muslims beleive Jesus was the Messiah, but you don't even know what was the Messiah's mission. He is obviously different from all the other prophets. You keep quoting the law of God in the Old Testament, but that does not prove your point. The point is Jesus died for our sins, and things have changed. It's either you believe He died for you on the cross, or you don't. As for posting you passages from the Old Testament about Jesus, I have done that plenty of times. Not to mention that the post I gave you showing that Jesus was to die and ressurect is enough proof. You are now without excuse when you kneel to Jesus on judgement day. Your "Al Qu'ran" is not the word of God. Why would God say that He would be pleased to kill Jesus FOR US, then kill Him, and finally in the Qu'ran say that He rescued Jesus? That just shows that your god does not care for us and wants us to die in our sins. There is only one god that will do such a thing, and that is your god who is a contadictor, a liar, and was a murderer from the beginning!!!!!!!!!! |
