Science, Creation & EvolutionCreation vs. Evolution, general discussionThere are numerous transitional fossils in the evolution of whales, for example. But then perhaps you have a different definition (once again!) of what 'transitional' means. The transition from early reptiles to mammals is well described too. In fact there is such a detailed knowledge of some aspects, that ID really fails to explain WHY there are such transitional forms. See, this is where your argument fails. If you wrote the statement to say that 'creationism is real and valid', and/or that 'evolution is absolutely false', then the list would shrink to the size of this post. Saying that they are skeptical of Darwinism (not sure why they don't say 'evolution') is a red herring. Most scientists are skeptics and many are skeptical that evolution 'explains everything.' That does not invalidate the core theory of evolution. However, it does appeal to the layman who does not critically analyze the surveys, position papers, etc. and concludes that, "Oh, so there are scientists who do not believe in evolution!" Don't you think it is interesting that they did not sign a statement saying "Evolution is false"? It matters not to me. I thought you brought up the subject of cDK. I was only asking for evidence. |
