ArchivedJESUS IS GOD!!!Peace rejectnotfaith, This example was meant for us, that we should worship the Lord alone. Jesus quote scripture not necesarrily based from his point of view because nothing is supposed to serve the devil, only God. Yes, and Jesus WAS Good! He was the most perfect, chatse, and sinless person to ever stepped foot on this world. Jesus is the Lord and He is Good! Jesus WAS a prophet! Of course! He was the greatest of all prophets, and He was the Messiah! It's like what I said earlier abou God being like our heavenly Father. Remember that Jesus limited Himself, He humbled Himself on earth. By no means does this verse imply that Jesus still doesn't know when the Time is. Jesus is now in the full glory of the Father, as Daniel saw in his vision. He is the Lord as David saw in a vision. Jesus was also emphasizing how mysterious the Time woule be, so we must be carefully on guard. Maybe my brothers here can give you better answers. Now, if it would not be so inconvienient, would you please comment on the following selections from the Bible: Wisdom 2:12-21 12 Let us beset the just one, because he is obnoxious to us; he sets himself against our doings, Reproaches us for transgressions of the law and charges us with violations of our training. 13 He professes to have knowledge of God and styles himself a child of the LORD. 14 To us he is the censure of our thoughts; merely to see him is a hardship for us, 15 Because his life is not like other men's, and different are his ways. 16 He judges us debased; he holds aloof from our paths as from things impure. He calls blest the destiny of the just and boasts that God is his Father. 17 Let us see whether his words be true; let us find out what will happen to him. 18 For if the just one be the son of God, he will defend him and deliver him from the hand of his foes. 19 With revilement and torture let us put him to the test that we may have proof of his gentleness and try his patience. 20 Let us condemn him to a shameful death; for according to his own words, God will take care of him." 21 These were their thoughts, but they erred; for their wickedness blinded them This most astonishing prophecy captures the exact thoughts of the Pharisees about Jesus Christ. Here He is called the Son of God and the plot of the crucifixion is unravelled. This is the most solid proof that Jesus the the Son of God and was put to death. Daniel 7:13-14 13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Jesus is seen here in the glory of the Father! He is being worshipped my the nations and people. Psalm 110:1 The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." This vision of David corresponds to Daniel's vision. From this we see that the Son of Man and the Ancient of Days are both the Lord! Mark 2:5-7 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." 6Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, 7"Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" Only God can forgive sins, Jesus had the Power of God! Mark 2:27 Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. 28So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath." Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, interesting. Mark 4:35-41 35That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side." 36Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" 39He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" 41They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!" I am quite eager to here your comments on these verses. In fact as a moderator, I expect you to give me answers. |
