Outdated. Try again.
Outdated only for political reasons, the science that put your disorder in the DSM in the first place has NEVER been proven wrong. Spitzer’s Nomenclature Task Force on Homosexuality Committee’s rational was completely political and lacked any credible studies supporting its removal from the DSM. Perhaps you might want to debate the merits of the Hooker, Kinsey, Marmor, and my favorite, the Saghir and Robins study, which employed NO "scientific" evidence or psychoanalytic methodology if you dissagree.
Excuse me? How do taxes "protect procreation," exactly?
Yes, in some cases your taxes and the taxes of others offset the burden placed upon those raising children, in a [traditional (ideal) family unit], or the possibility thereof. Social Security Survivor Benefits, Tax breaks for Marriage Bonus (we’re still working on Marriage Penalty), Assumption of Spouse’s Pension, Automatic Inheritance, Exemption from Property Tax are for the benefit of the [traditional (ideal) family unit], or the possibility thereof. The rest you are free to contract yourselves for your own purposes, no one is stopping you.
And I repeat: What "special accomodation" at society's expense?
Most recently a gay high school, gay proms, special rights legislation for behaviors, the burden of insurance benefits for homosexual government employees…there’ a whole slew of them, need I say more?
