Science, Creation & EvolutionEvolution PollAgain, this is not evolution. It is part of the individual’s life cycles. Call it what you will, it still happens. Science is wrong all the time. It is not static. What you are describing is science striving for the best way to explain what is being observed. As knowledge increases, it becomes necessary to modify and clarify to account for the observation. No trickery involved. The atom does exist. It may not act as scientist once thought, but exist they do. Again, based on knowledge at that time, the atomic model was proposed. As science revealed sub atomic particles, the explanation needed modification to account for them. Scientists do not hold to the old way of thinking about atoms, they seek to understand their sub atomic particles. Unlike religion, a scientific Theory, Law, etc. is not the end all be all. The jury is still out on that one. There are augments to support both sides, as well as other competing explanations. The very fact that there is a debate just demonstrates science at work. While there may not bee an overall consensus, at no time will either side just lie down and say "the world is warming up because god wills it so". |
