I was actually thinking about this earlier today, and it occurred to me that Science really does have alot to account for
I can imagine an amoeba evolving into a multicellular organism. I can believe in the multicellular organism becoming an animal (or group of animals). And I can believe that this group of animals diversifies to fill different niches in the world. What occurred to me, however, was - how difficult would it be to evolve an eyeball? I mean, some of the workings there are terribly complicated - it would take billions of years for something like that to evolve naturally...wow. It's kind of mind-boggling, but that's what I was thinking about.
This still didn't cause me to believe in Creationism (although Evolution guided by ID I can accept). I think that while science still has alot to answer for, they have shown enough evidence to show that evolution could be possible. I think it's just a matter of time before it is shown to be the case, but heck, it's just an opinion
