Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesRomans 14This thread has been moved because of your cultish beliefs and false interpretations of Scripture. The purpose of the Open Debate forum is found under the title: Any thread you start will be moved to this forum if it deals with Christianity. As to what Paul is discussing in Romans 14 it has to do with a Christian’s liberty or emancipation from the Law. One who is weak in faith will only eat "herbs" or vegetables, while one who is strong in faith will eat meat. What Paul is telling his reader is that the strong believer should accept and fellowship with the weak believer. This can easily be understood to refer to Jews whose faith in Jesus is weak so they adhere to the dietary and other laws, while those (Jews or gentiles) who are strong in their faith will eat what is forbidden in the law and make observing the traditional celebrations a personal option. Therefore Paul is indirectly addressing the dietary laws, which is why I brought Romans 14 to your attention on the Paul and the Law thread. I know why you started this as a separate thread, however you can’t avoid the full impact of what Paul is teaching in Romans 14 simply by ignoring that he labels those who limit their diet weak in faith. |
