If you don't know that "pulse" can mean seed pods then how do you know that Daniel refused to eat meat and ate only vegatables since Daniel 1 states Daniel refused to eat the king's rich meat, which does not preclude Daniel ate meat allowed by the Law. You are interpreting this to mean what you want it to mean.

I never said what he ate, I only spoke on what he did not. I was not there by his side to tell you if he ain't peanuts or only vegetables. Or only clean meats that had not been offered to idols. I was not there to tell you his specific diet and neither were you there to tell me what he ate specifically. We only has scripture, which says that he didn't want the King's meat and asked for pulse.

I get the idea you believe Daniel was a vegan based on what you posted. Even if you add dairy products to your diet, a vegetarian must eat other foods that contain trace minerals not found in vegetables and dairy products to live a healthy life.

I am not putting words in your mouth I am taking what you post at face value and what you have posted is that Daniel refused to eat meat and since the account does not mention diary and based on what we know concerning nutrition we can understand the Daniel could not have been a strict vegetarian (vegan) and be healthier than those who ate rich meats, which can lead to obesity and other health problems.
