Christian/Muslim ThreadsDo Christian men have a strong sense of Brotherhood?
responsible leadership is also negotiable (ever heard of democracy -- the people rule)... living in Christ his time you could have a dialogue with Him on any subject... in so much that we from his dialogue's know what his views are concerning leadership, life, marriage, the law, justice, righteousnes, etc... The great thing about Christ parables is that they are general and adaptable to a great range of possibility but the morals of his parables are always very clear and very firmly put. So that their is no dispute about the morals a christian stand for... the thing negotiable is if it falls under the teaching or not. reasoning my friend! Quran doesn't have that, cause the Quran's leadership is that of a dictator. uhu, God's truth isn't variable... the main tenets of christianity in protestant, catholic and orthodox churches are the same and i stand and defend all these demonations as the Church of Christ. Only sects alter christianity in so much that salvation gets unatainable. and The Catholics adapt the teachings of christ to modern times as well (euthanasia, abortions, condoms,....) and protestants do this too (in agreeance with the catholics non the less). Their is a unity that you do not see and the churches are getting more and more one and the same again. even the Anglican churches have christian theology, not A self made theology (wich only occurs in sects like jehova's witnesses, scientology, islam and mormonism) They only seperated from the pope's rule and it was by King Henry's demand that he made himself head of the church wich wasn't even a christian and wasn't supported by the christian england of that time and is today being discarded by anglican christians who merely see them as autonomous protestants. acctually it were the heresies in pre-islam arabia that had all self made theologies, you should do a study about that, that what i would call christian chaos... and that's where muhammed all got his apocryphal stories from wich he plagiarized in his quran. http://www.witness-pioneer.org/vil/Book ... _islam.htm Today's christianity is very much in order, if you acctually did the study... and if you still think that it isn't, then you should look at Islam as well and see the hundreds of local and giant sects they created who are more heresy to each other then denominations. yes well speak for yourself, you are the one blaming Christ for that and turning to Islam instead. Not because you value truth (due to research and study of the theologies)... but because you value culture (and repressive and conservative if possible). euhm, I'm a european... and the difference with america and europe concerning christianity... is that in Europe's it's a culture, it lives in our values and ideas... in America Christianity is an enterprise... and i don't like american christianity all that fanaticly either. And since Christianity is spread all over the world, you shouldn't look at judge at one country only. also because very large parts of Asia are communistic (atheistic), poor or at war... not to mention the dominating cultures of buddhism and shinto. Overall then, christianity still has more succes their then Islam, since Christianities values speak more to them (from buddhistic and confusionistic viewpoint), then Muhammed's visions of war and persecution... AND on top of that, they can't know muhammed without first having to know Christianity, Islam only excist because christianity is around to keep it alive, it is a parasite.. without the bible the quran wouldn't make sence. Doesn't matter where or how the gospel is preached i have no problem with churches either... let us build churches like James the brother of Jesus did, or let us spread the gospel at homes or public gatherings like Paul did... oh please, your now showing a lack of history... their are documents of Mark, Matthew and Luke that are shown to be written before the Nicene creed, how then can they be doctored? and do know that all gospels were spread all over the roman empire? you think when they compiled the creed they collected all gospels, and then gave them back doctored? without the early christians revolting? The first real indication of a muslim is his beliefs in conspiracy theories wich they can't proof. and Luke starts with the birth of Emmanuel wich means "God with us"... and Matthew wrote down that Jesus was crucified because he literally answered when asked (at the Sandrehenin) if he was the son of God, in wich Jesus answered "I Am"... Mark is no less short of such indications of Jesus divine nature... only John emphases more on his diety then others who emphasize on other aspects of Jesus... the separation of church of state came due to enlightment philosophers... this was enforced on the people due to a war led by Napoleon, not due to a natural process of christianisation that would lead too that... neither is secularisation a threat to christianity, since God has a personal relation with man, not one trough state... and that's where secularisation is a threat to Islam. and the medeavel christian governments were brutal dictators... maybe you like that, but i don't... God forbid you'd ever had to life a year in the shoes of the people that lived in those times. I rather have a friend in the unbeliever(the enemy) then him being persecuted or taxed with Jizya to a second rate citizen. i disagree, the scriptures were never altered... the only thing that happend was that it was romanized by asserting hollidays with christianity... that's the only thing, and a christian is nowhere forbidden in the bibel to celebrate christ's birthday so that is something the christian indivuadilly chooses if he wants to celebrate that or not without being in disagreeance with the bible. The roman government only created order in the then christian disagreeances by making one creed that covers all christianity and excludes heresy... and the creed is still today suppportable by scripture... while the heresies still aren't. that you can't proof it... you might as well believe in UFO's, if you can't proof it, then it's a conspiracy theory... and these are always absurd. |
