You also use the example of the dogs, of how much changes can be made within only a few generations. Your own words were something with a Great Dane and a chihuahua and that their fossils would be so different that it would be hard to see that they decended from the same dog/wolf/...
Do you see why it is hard to just throw evolution away based on the things you say?
How does natural selection and survival of the fittest apply to E.Coli btw? Hard to see for me. Animals and plants mix genes, and can get diversity that way. I don't think bacterias mix genes?
Evolution is also based on the best adaptation to the environment. Can E.Coli bacteria be better adapted to the environment then they are now?
