it depends if they are extremly conservative or liberal.
my parents dont care. my brother became agnostic, and they really dont care.
im religously conservative but politically liberal. does that make sense?
i dunno i would allow my children. first of all, hinduism believes that Jesus was an incarnation or probably some holy prophet. in its beliefs, hinduism is tolerant. so conversion is pointless, since we believe all religouns are just different pathes to God.
thats just according to hindu belief.
according to history and how in reality people would react. in india, i think parents would be mad. because they find conversian silly. christians in india were historically converted and so the talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk all day all day all day and Jesus and how good he is. and its in human nature to get annoyed and so they have a very bad opinon about the Indian Christians. perhaps some hindus will let thier children. but is very rare that people willingly convert. there is no point.
the only reason why some hindus did convert to chistianity is because the missionairies bribed them with free education. and indians value education.
so would they get mad? it depends.
i would. i have a low opinion of the Church and the christians of today. it has strayed from its original mission of God. its beliefs are cool and all. but its too controlling. if you oppose one thing, you get excoumminicated. wow. thats wonderful. then theres papal infallibility. and i dont believe in confession and christianity has a bunch of confusing denominations.
thats why i dont like it TODAY. it was fine during the first moments.
