ArchivedMuhammad - No MiraclesPeace Ismael, No! But he has revealed Himself to us in Christianity. He has revealed Himself to us through Jesus Christ. God taught us the pure Word directly from His own mouth--He isn't limited to men for His work. Jesus ushered in the New Covenant of God, and through Him all have can have salvation. So we know what God allows us to know. Let me share with you a prophecy to support this: Isaiah 49 5 And now the LORD says- he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD and my God has been my strength- 6 he says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." The Lord said that! The Lord formed His servant--still the Lord--in the womb. This is Jesus Christ! Jesus is the Light for the Gentiles. God extends His covenant to incorporate all of humanity. Jesus has brought salvation to the ends of the earth. We Christians back up our beliefs with 100's of amazing and distinct prophecies. No true! When a son is rebellious and runs away from home, does his father still love him? Yes! God is like this! And God's Love for us is like the Love of a great Heavenly Father. A good father punished his children to keep them on the right opath, but ultimately you choose your path. You are either saved by accepting the Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and be saved by Grace alone, or you will die in your sins, and be damned out of our own error. Your eternal death will be on your conscience, not on God's. As for the Holy Spirit, Ismael, you must consider this: "Who has understood the spirit of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor?" Isaiah 40:13 "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. " John 15:26 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:10-12 Then his people recalled the days of old, the days of Moses and his people- where is he who brought them through the sea, with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he who set his Holy Spirit among them, Isaiah 63:11 Then the LORD came down in the cloud and spoke with him, and he took of the Spirit that was on him and put the Spirit on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did not do so again. -Numbers 11:25 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[1] as the Spirit enabled them. -Acts 2:2-4 Don't you see the correlations between the Old and New Testaments? Truly the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the LORD! |
