amazed at how many responses
i wish that the world did not have to label me by any title, be it social class, gender, ethnicity, religion, etc.
i have been fortunate enough to reflect over my life and realize there was more to it than i could see, smell, hear, physically feel, taste. it took some things called FAITH and COURAGE for me to realize there is a lot more to life than me, and then actively seek out the purpose of life by continuosly questioning everything that i have ever believed.
in fact, i do believe in one high god (who is omnipotent - not unable to do anything, omnipresent - universal life energy force, omniscient - the supreme all knowing consciousness in which all consciousness exists) and i do believe that god manifested fully in flesh as jesus christ. i also believe many many things that christians simply do not. however these differences are personal to me and do not wish to share them yet.
i am amazed at how many responses that one can get on this forum by simply inquiring about the topic of religions.
but why "religion"? isn't the quest for TRUTH? the TRUTH beneath religion, philosophy, science, politics, ...life. the truth that is ultimately unchanging/powerful, beyond people that birth and die, civilizations that rise and fall, and even beyond TIME.
where does TRUTH come from? this question is necessary because without direction, seekers may find themselves discouraged, impatient, utterly confused or decieved. does truth come from religion? if truth comes from a set of beliefs, facts, and values, then it is for you to experience alone. god works directly with each person thru revelation. god REVEALS to you what is for you. since each person is unique they also have a unique purpose. that takes faith.
but does truth come from blind faith? maybe more for some than others, but nevertheless always be active in your quest for truth. by reading the previous responses, some are prompted to preach to you as if their experience is best for you. god knows whats best for you and it is best that you earnestly seek god to answer your concerns. again, it takes faith in the spiritual system that god designed. if you sow, you reap. your reward may not be one that you can see/hear/smell/etc so that is where the faith is necessary.
for example, some seekers will be answered very slowly/subtly maybe because god knows that the purpose for your life requires an extreme amount of patience/tolerance/concentration, therefore you have to master it. this is faith. this may also be courage because your bravery is causing you to persevere. about blind faith... dangerous deception may lie ahead on this path, so you cant be TOO blind. by following a system that has been designed without understanding its underlying principles, your quest may take too many detours. your object of devotion may easily be altered by something else disguised as truth.
too many people claim to know TRUTH, and in fact many do. however, truth is not perceptive. they see only a face/dimension and claim to see it's entire essence. worse yet, they preach that all humans should see it thru their eyes ONLY, as if god made them special to relay his message. so they create an institution to develop more people like themselves. i'll leave it to you seekers to see the contradictions here.
i'd go on sharing, but life's duties are calling to me. thanks for reading.
